Hallooo! my name's Mei Marino :D okay, that was just a pen name... I won't tell my name but you can guess :P My second name (the first is Ma.) starts wih letter P and it's one of the most common name in the world (which makes me hate it sometimes.

So yeah :P I'm an 18-years old University student taking up International Studies Major in Japanese studies (ISJ). Tentative graduation: October 2012 (?) I'll be delayed for one year because I'll be going to Japan this March as an exchange student in Kokushikan University in Sategaya, Tokyo.

So why did I take up ISJ?: I love Japan. My mom was a former Japanese consultant, so maybe all those Japanese stuff rub off on me XD nevertheless, I find Japan and it's culture very interesting. The original plan was for me to take up nursing then proceed to take up medicine. (If that's the case, I will be the first doctor in the family) but to be honest, I don't like science. It's.... .... so yeah, I like talking and talking so I guess I.S. is good for me since I'd most probably do a lot of talking in international relations. Japanese studies was a big bonus for me and I'm so lucky to be accepted in the only university in our country (I'm not sure but as far as I know) that offers Japanese studies as its major for International studies. I didn't even expected for me to be accepted because the test was so damn hard and getting into the I.S. program is another story... but yeah, here I am on my second year and the start of our hard core, head ache majors.

I can't say that I'm good in English but it is my second language and my mother sent me to study at an all-girls school with the forte of the english language. (I stayed there for almost 11 years, completing grade school and high school). A trivia for that school is that it's one block away from my university and it is a sister school of my university :D I'm taking up Japanese Language for almost 1 year and a half now and I will be taking up the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level 4 this December. So I basically speak 3 languages: Filipino, English and Japanese.

I love Hey! Say! JUMP. I'm a big fan and it is one of my goals to actually attend one of their concerts and my dream to attend their concert together with my friends. I've been into the fandom when they were still Hey! Say! 7. That was because of Yamada Ryosuke and his drama Tantei Gakuen Q (I've watched the anime so it made me curious of what the drama looks like). I've kind of hated JUMP at first because I didn't want the original group to be joined by another extra 5 but I'm glad they actually did because Hey! Say! JUMP is the best of the best. I've despised Inoo Kei at first but when I've mistaken him for Daiki in one Halloween Special magazine, I've began to admit that he was cute and I've eventually learned to like and love him when I saw him playing Star Time piano on Shounen Club.

I also like News (especially Tegomass) and KAT TUN and some song from Arashi, but generally I give my attention to Hey! Say! JUMP.

Oh yeah, B.I. Shadow catches my attention once in a while. I really like Kikuchi Fuma. At first I also hate B.I. Shadow for being "bad actors" at Scrap Teacher, but they eventually got better and Fuma really got my attention during HSJ winter con <3 I majorly like only Kento, Fuma and Hokuto :D

So basically, this journal is all about my rants on love, school and fan girl life. I post fanfiction and artworks once in a while but school is my priority and fan girling only comes in second.
